Registration

Got my registration letter through so have sent cheque for the bit that the financial support didn't cover all ready for 2nd October start. Yipee. I'm sure I am a few hundred short on financial support but will query it later as it isn't a fee related support. Should hear back within a few weeks with registration codes etc.... Feel like I a young student all over again. I'll be a member of NUS, ICIS, BPA and OUPS... think it's gonna cost a fortune in membership fees!!!

The OU Financial Support

The financial support form is fairly straight forward although I got it sent back to me because I hadn't sent ID, the slight issue is that you have to have it countersigned by someone on their list. The only one I could see was Police..... do you think I could find one!!! It also turns out that the local 'copshop' only opens from 12-2 where possible!!! Finally after asking every customer who walked in to my shop what they do for a living, I managed to get a retired headteacher. I had more options when I applied for my passport.

Got email back confirming that my financial support will be in place before my course starts. Exciting now.

New laptop has arrived, it is my new favourite toy and have sourced Office 2003 to run so hoping that will surfice for the course, I'm sure it will.

Back from the USA

After 15 days of 'doing' Florida, I am back and the only thing to look forward to is a new laptop and starting DD101 my first module working my way to a BSc (Hon) Psychology. Managed to mess up already. When I registered I typed in the wrong email so had to get that rectified, they did it quickly though and forgot to send ID with the financial forms...Doh!!!

Turns out I am reserved for the October 2010 start and the January one so will jump on the bandwagon with October.
